Importance Of World Vision

World Vision has a lot of importance to it now, and 62 years ago, when it all begun. We think that World Vision is important, and the best sponsoring agency, because:
World Vision isn't government-run, but instead it runs itself. The good thing about this, is that if somebody wants to donate money to World Vision, all the money will go to World Vision, and none will go to the government. Lots of companies and organisations are government run, but luckily, World Vision isn't. By getting more money, World Vision could sponsor a lot more children, then they could if they were government-run.

World Vision works with every country in the world, no matter how poor, or how rich. World Vision supports children all around the world, and doesn't leave anybody out. So by doing this, every poor child in the world gets a fair share of something.
It has been running for 62 years! That is longer than any other organisation that has cared for children over the past years, and now.

World Vision's revenue is worth 2.8 billion dollars! That means, that they can make 2.8 billion dollars every year, on an average. But their numbers are getting even higher every year! By next year, they could've made 3 billion dollars, or 4 billion by 2020! This means, that they can raise a lot of money to poor children in the world! And more to that, other children in schools can sponsor their child, and more money can be raised!

World Vision has 44,500 employees, or had 44,500 workers in 2011! Now, it is nearly the end of 2012, so they could have increased by about 100 or so! By having more workers, they can get all the money to children around the world quicker, and there won't be any delays!

World Vision help 20% of the people in the world! That means, they help 1,400,000,000 people and over 1,400,000 Aussies donate every year and the numbers are shooting up! Did you know that 6,000,000 Aussies will be donating money to World Vision by 2014? And to add onto it, that's over a quarter of Australia!
