Where The Funds Go

Where do the funds go when you donate to World Vision?

Firstly, why your help is so important

Our work is made possible mainly by the support of generous Australians. We rely on people like you to support our programs and appeals so we can provide vital short and long-term help to people worldwide.
  • 71% of our funds come from the Australian community (people like you!)
  • 12% of our funds come from the Australian Government's overseas aid program, AusAID
  • 17% of our funds come from other sources

For over 60 years we have worked hard to make sure that all resources entrusted to us are used as efficiently and effectively as possible to bring maximum impact to children and communities in need.

World Vision provides relief in emergency situations and works on long-term community development projects to assist over 20 million people worldwide. Together, this work addresses the causes of poverty and helps people to move towards self-sufficiency.
